Kigali, Rwanda-based Bio Usawa Biotechnology Ltd (BUBL) is excited to welcome Molly Rwigamba, Managing Partner of RR Associates & Co.to the BUBL Advisory Board where she will advise BUBL on legal strategy and corporate transactions.

Ms. Rwigamba is a veteran attorney with deep experience in the drug development industry. Her extensive background will serve as a key success factor as she and her team provide guidance and support on corporate growth, critical issues and preparations for successful launch of its Rwandabased monoclonal antibody manufacturing plant.

She is a Legal and Private Sector expert with over 24 years of experience in Rwanda, and has worked on a number of projects as Legal Advisor and Counsel on corporate finance projects such as the Bank of Kigali IPO and BRD Sustainability Linked Bond. 

Her experience includes serving on several boards as an independent director. She is currently the Board Chair of BRITAM Insurance Rwanda, and ViceChairperson of Rwanda Management Institute (RMI). Prior to these positions, she was the Vice-chair of the Capital Markets Authority (CMA), and Board member of KCB Bank Rwanda, and Msingi East Africa.

Ms. Rwigamba will leverage her deep and unique suite of skills to assist BUBL in negotiating win-win collaborations and licensing agreements with major Biotech Manufacturing stakeholders, thereby expanding and strengthening BUBL’s presence within the region’s healthcare ecosystem.

She obtained her undergraduate law degree (LLB) from the National University of Rwanda and a Masters in International Comparative Law from Uppsala University, Sweden. She is a licensed attorney representing clients in national and international Arbitration Tribunals since 2011.
