Bio Usawa is pleased to announce that Pat Lukulay, PhD, Chief Regulatory Officer, is an invited panelist at the 17th annual Global Health Supply Chain Summit, to be held Nov 13-15 in Lagos, Nigeria (http://ghscs.com/). This year’s conference has as its theme Value Chain Innovations for Universal Health Coverage, and brings together distinguished stakeholders from governments, NGOs, international organizations, bi-lateral and multi-lateral agencies, academics, and practitioners to discuss supply chain innovation strategies to improve health outcomes. The conference is timely as LMICs work towards universal health coverage (UHC) by building resilient and equitable health systems, and incorporating technological advancements that offer tremendous opportunities to improve the healthcare value chain.
Dr. Lukulay will be representing Bio Usawa on the Manufacturing Innovations and Advances for Health Products plenary panel, speaking about the critical importance of building local bio/manufacturing capacity for biologics and biosimilars in Africa in support of a resilient and equitable health system.
